60th Anniversary

60th Anniversary Celebration

We are planning a 60th anniversary celebration of a Church of God congreation in the Big Sandy-Gladewater area for Saturday night, October 26, at ALERT Academy, the former Ambassador College, Big Sandy location. The activity will take place in the Dining Hall with dinner beginning at 6:30 PM. The cost is $15 per person for a Thanksgiving dinner, including drinks and dessert.

If you are on this page you should have already completed the registration process. If you have not, please go to this link first and complete the registration. At the end of the registration you will be returned to this page to make your payment for the dinner.

Please remember we are guests on the property and are expected to treat it with respect. ALERT requests that people do not drive around the campus or enter other buildings. We appreciate your cooperation with their requests as it will impact us and all Church of God groups in the area!

Welcome to COGWA

Following the example of Jesus and the New Testament Church, our congregation worships on Saturday and observes the annual Holy Days which are recorded in Leviticus 23. It is by observing these days that we more fully appreciate God’s plan of salvation for mankind and we prepare ourselves for service in the soon-coming Kingdom of God. If you would like to know more about us, I invite you to review our Fundamental Beliefs.
